Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
I adored the warm atmosphere at this charming retreat! From the cozy decor to the fine gardens, every corner feels like home. Special shoutout to Suzanne for her fantastic service, especially going out of her way to help us find tights for a wedding-now that's above and beyond!

would stay there again
The room had an electric kettle, tv, and great views of the countryside. Dinner was fantastic with well-cooked steak and duck dishes. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were really attentive. Spa facilities looked inviting too.

The unique castle architecture brings an element of history to your stay, and the cozy fireplaces add a bit of character that's hard to beat.
It felt more like a light mist than a revitalizing wash. Staying in a courtyard room might leave you craving a bit more privacy, especially with the skylight letting in morning light at 6 a.m., disrupting sleep. The absence of Wi-Fi in the room is a hassle for anyone needing to catch up on work .

Suzanne was fantastic, even stopping by the biggar co-op to help us find tights for a wedding. The gluten-free pheasant with gravy was delicious, and the cozy atmosphere was like visiting family.

A Lovely Stay with a Few Hiccups
We enjoyed our night in a Beautiful Double Room, but missed the charming hotel atmosphere as our room was in a separate courtyard. Make sure to ask for a room with better water pressure in the shower! Don't forget to bring your own Wi-Fi if you need it for work.

Spacious room designed for accessible needs offered unexpected comfort, while the quality of the evening meal was awesome. The well-prepared steak was particularly enjoyable. The beautiful surrounding environment added a serene touch, complemented by friendly staff who were attentive throughout our stay. There was limited variety on the breakfast menu, and check-in took longer than anticipated due to a busy front desk.
